International Women In Engineering Day 2024

​This Sunday, International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) celebrates and promotes the amazing work that women in engineering do across the world.

At NG Bailey, we are committed to creating a culture where we treat each other fairly and with respect, recognising everyone as an individual and the value they bring to our business. 

Brought to you by the Women’s Engineering Society, INWED was introduced in 2014 as a national campaign, and since then it has grown enormously, receiving UNESCO patronage in 2016 and going global in 2017. 

This year’s theme, Enhanced By Engineering, gives women engineers around the world a profile when they are still hugely under-represented.  

As the only platform of its kind, it plays a vital role in encouraging more young women and girls to take up a career in engineering.
